While most people probably went shopping the day after Christmas, we went to the Tampa Zoo. It was our first visit to the local zoo and we had a great time. We got there right after the zoo had opened, so the animals were all active and happy. Riley’s favorite animal was the Elephant, Reagan’s favorite was the Giraffe and Zebra. Mom and Dad’s favorite was by far the Chimpanzee, as he was not a happy camper and was screaming and running around his cage. It was so cool to watch him. He would start screaming, hit the wall, and take off running. Of course, we only got a piece of it on video. They must be like kids and stop performing when they see a camera.
