Reagan's Birthday Party!!!!!

Happy Birthday Reagan!

What a birthday party! Not only did Reagan have a "Spotted Dog" party (as she calls it) but they also got to go to BounceU, an indoor playarea full of inflatables. Everyone had a great time. Mom was so proud of her work she did to make this a successful "Spotted Dog" party. Mom handmade the gift bags and cupcake decorations.
Good Job Mom on being CRAFTY!
Reagan was well coordinated with the party theme, wearing her spotted clothes.

Thanks for all the great presents! We had a great party!

Riley's progress ...

Riley is learning to stand now. She has mastered crawling (it is about time, she is 9 1/2 months) and now she is trying to pull up on everything. She gets so proud of herself. We thought she would never become mobile, but now she is, and into everything. It sure has been challenging keeping everything clean enough for her to crawl around!

So happy to have a different view of life!

Styling Soccer Girl

Saturday was Reagan's first soccer game, ever. She looked so cute in her soccer uniform and her hair bows that we made.
She was a styling soccer girl!

Poor little Reagan is so much shorter than the other kids, she had a hard time keeping up with everyone. She was a trooper, even though she was exhausted from running back and forth. She complained her legs were tired, but she never cried!

She has soccer practice every Tuesday and a soccer game every Saturday, for the next eight weeks. She is very excited to now be a soccer player. Lets see how much she improves over the next few weeks.

How cute is she!!!

she does a good job kicking it while no one is trying to take it from her!

She is the shortest on the team.

Welcome 2008

Happy New Year to you.
We started off our new year with a bang. All four of us were sick with a very bad cold. Mom, Dad, & Reagan had the horrible cold, and Riley had the cold plus a double ear infection. The cold virus also hit Riley with a terrible rash, almost head to toe. She is feeling much better now ... Thank You for ANTIBIOTICS!

We also found out that Riley is going to have to have surgery on her left eye. She has a "dermoid cyst" on her eyebrow, next to her nose. The eye doctor said that it is important to remove this type of cyst because the more mobile Riley becomes, she risks falling and rupturing the cyst, which can cause infection and other problems we don't want to have to deal with. We felt that the surgery will be handled much better by Riley if we get it over with while she is still so young and not so mobile. So, she is having surgery on January 31. It is a 45 minute to and hour long procedure where they will carefully cut open her eyebrow and remove the cyst. She will be under anesthesia and it is an outpatient procedure. We are positive that this is going to go smoothly and she will heal just fine. We will keep you posted on her outcome!

A close up of Riley's face, you cannot see the cyst. It is only about the size of a pea right now. But it is right above her left eye, on the side close to her nose.
Doesn't she look just so sad.

Here is the much HAPPIER Riley, that we all know so well!

You can't forget about Reagan, who is so excited to be celebrating her 4th birthday next week!

And Irbe. We don't say too much about him these days, but he does keep us laughing and playing. Here he is playing with Reagan's new roller skating puppy. Everytime the puppy would start skating, Irbe would run up to it and pick it up by it's tail. We were all having a great time watching him, even Reagan who thought Irbe was attacking her new puppy!

Oh what fun we have together!

Reagan & Riley are truly great sisters ... so far. They enjoy having eachother around and play very well together. Reagan loves to shake, rock, pull, push, bounce, etc the baby and Riley just laughs and laughs and lets Reagan torture her. Riley's face lights up everytime she sees Reagan. It is so fun to watch them together. Here are some random pictures of them.

Reagan wearing her Hannah Montana socks that she just loves.
Cool glasses Riley! (What a chunk she is)
Reagan and her Gingerbread house that we made, but it is too stale to eat!

Doodle enjoying some dinner ... not sure what it is but she is loving it!
Just kidding, I know what it is, it is just a jar of baby food.

Videos of Performance

I am really sad about this video process. I worked for literally hours yesterday, trying to get this video not only on my computer, but editing, splicing, and touching up the videos to compile them into one really cute video. My video was just about five mintues long after finishing (cut down from about 40 minutes) and it was so great. I could not wait to get it uploaded into the blog for everyone to enjoy.
However, IT WON'T UPLOAD!!!! So, my solution, at least for now, is to put small clips of some of her video's. Sorry I can't get them all on here, but this will have to do for now! So, if you would like to see her singing, here you go!

This video was of her singing "Happy Birthday Jesus." I cut to the end of the video so you could see her "Mooing" like the cows. Be sure to notice her lips!!!

Short Video of her final song ... "Christmas Hide and Seek" and her curtsy.

Christmas Hide & Seek ...

Reagan had her preschool Christmas program at the church ...
"Christmas Hide and Seek".
It was the preschools interpretation of the night Jesus was born. Reagan and her classmates were the "Wise Men". She practiced really hard during school and even at home. We had a CD that her teacher gave her to practice the songs ... Soooo, we listened to these songs over and over and over again. She did a great job during her performance, even though her crown would not stay on and she even poked herself in the eye . She did very well to keep her composure! Here are some pictures of our night ...
Doodle Bug, waiting patiently for the show to start

Our girls ... freezing outside before the show (it was chilly outside, in the lower 50's and of course, my girls don't have coats on)

Breakfast with Santa Claus

We took the girls to eat breakfast with Santa Claus. We ate pancakes and sausage, sat on Santa's lap, and even got to play in some snow (yes, they brought in snow for the kids ... it was not "real" snow). Reagan had a great time, however, Riley was not fond of Santa.

Santa, I want the "Littlest Pet Shop" for Christmas!!!
Santa, LET ME GO!!!!
Watch out Daddy, I am going to get you!
I threw the snow, but most of it landed in my face. What is up with that?
What a fun morning we had, even in the cold & rainy weather.
I know, what am I saying, we are not even wearing coats and I am saying it is cold.

Christmas Portraits 2007

We went and had our family portraits taken, and they turned out so beautiful. We were very pleased with them! They girls were very happy that morning, even considering Riley fell asleep right before the pictures were taken.
Happy Holidays!!!!!!!

Reagan's Fall Performance at School

Reagan had a Fall Festival at her preschool. They worked really hard getting the children ready for this night, and it was a lot of fun. We were so proud of Reagan for singing so well and participating the entire time. What an improvement from last year, where she stood there with her finger in her mouth and would not move.
Our Beautiful Girl!
Pumpkin Face Reagan
Her costume for the performance was a farmer ... isn't she cute?
Singing in her group of friends from school
Reagan and her friend, MerKenna. It was a little crowded up there, but Reagan was great!

Here is a video of them singing ... it was a cute performance. Reagan was so tired, but did such a WONDERFUL JOB, even with the little boy next to her having a hard time with his sneezes (hehehehe!). You know how she gets with gross things!
