Wii

For my birthday, Scott bought a Wii. Everyone has had a great time playing the Wii for the past month. Riley walks around swinging her arm, as if she is playing too.

Reagan loves to play all the games and tries to be a good sport about it. Sometimes she gets mad when Mom & Dad play and she feels left out.

Unfortunate for her, for our Anniversary, I bought Wii Fit for Scott. We have had a lot of fun doing the exercises, yoga, and training activities that are included with the Wii Fit. It takes a lot of patience and concentration (not Reagan's forte).

Potty Training Already?

Believe it or not ... Riley has shown a "little" interest in potty training. She started sitting on the potty the day we got home from our vacation. She has gone a bunch of times, and she even tells me that she has to go "poopy". Now, only twice has she actually gone "poopy" but hey, it's a start. I am not expecting her to become potty trained at 16 months, but it is great that she is interested. Who knows, maybe she will be potty trained completely by 2!

She went to get her Dora potty seat and instead of sitting on it, she put it on her head ... it turned sideways and got stuck (not really, but she could not figure out how to get it off). She was not happy about it and has not done it again!

The Land of Enchantment

We have returned from our trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico and what a beautiful place. We had perfect weather, the house we stayed at was gorgeous with a magnificent view, and the hospitality of the Mason Family was perfect. My cousin Rob married his soul mate, Erin, after nine long years of dating. We had a great time at the wedding and everything was done beautifully.

Dad Dan rented a 6,000 sq ft house that sat on top of a mountain, with a 360 view of the mountains around us. The entire "Miller" family stayed at the house, and each family had their own room. All of the kids had a great time with each other, just as my sisters and I had a great time visiting.

We attempted to take a family photo with everyone, since we were ALL finally all together again. It was very hectic taking a picture with 18 people, six of them being young children. Hopefully someone got a decent shot. My pictures were not bad, but not great either. Most of the smaller grouped pictures turned out great ... here are some of the good shots I got of the family.

A Little Bit of Mischeif

Sorry for the delay in posting. The girls have been sick, once again.
Reagan just got over a stomach bug for nine days ... not fun & Riley had a terrible cold with a cough that went to her lungs.
They are both healthy now and hopefully will stay that way through our trip to New Mexico next week.
After the girls being sick for almost two weeks, I think they decided to let loose and get a little bit crazy (as crazy as you can at their age).

I walked into the kitchen to find Riley climbing up on her high chair. She thought is was extremely funny and had the biggest smile on her face.

At least she had an excuse, she was ready for dinner. Look at what a great eater she is. She will eat just about anything I give her. I have not found a food she will refuse (unless she is just not hungry)!

I sent Reagan over to our neighbor's house to play. I got a call from my neighbor asking if I wanted Reagan home muddy or wet. Since those were my only two choices, I decided to walk across the street to see what was going on. This is how I found them!

We have had tons of rain over the past few days and it has been a huge blessing. Of course, with rain comes MUD! The girls were painting themselves with "mud paint" and having a great time.

A Few of our Favorite Things ...

Riley's new favorite thing is to be pushed around in the play cube.

Reagan's new favorite thing is her fish tank (which she got as a present for learning to swim so well)! She decorated it in a "spotted/dalmatian" theme ... who would have guessed!

In the afternoons, we fill up the water table and the baby pool for the kids to play in. They enjoy the water, keeping cool, and getting all wet. Their favorite part is when Mommy dumps all the water out and it makes a big puddle on the bricks. They love to splash until the puddle is gone (of course, I was a little late with the camera, and missed the puddle part!).

And last, but not least, the girls most favorite thing (NOT MOMMY'S AT ALL) ... jumping on Reagan's bed. I try really hard to keep them from doing this, but I had to play along long enough to get a cute video of them playing together. Enjoy!
