The other day, we enjoyed a hot day at the Zoo. The girls enjoyed seeing the animals and the fresh air. Reagan had a blast playing 'photographer' and she took a ton of pictures of all the different animals (of course, they are not going to be posted on the blog because she took A TON). Riley's favorite part was touching and feeding the Stingrays. We had a great time together and are looking forward to some cooler weather so we can go back!
There is a neat place to go up and feed the Giraffes. For $1 a cracker (rip off!) you can feed them. Reagan was not wanting a part of it, so Riley got to feed them their cracker. It was a pretty neat experience for her.
Riley loves the Elephants ... probably her favorite animal of all times!
At the Bat Cave, you are to take a picture and then flip it over to look like you are hanging with the bats ... did not work out as it should, but it is a cute picture!
The girls got to choose one ride to ride on and they choose the Flying Bananas. They wanted to ride together, but the guy would not let them. So they rode alone, and had a great time any ways!
There is a great, indoor and cool, Manatee exhibit.
Riley LOVED the Stingrays!
She was not afraid of them at all.
Reagan wanted to touch them, so she said, but never did. She was a bit scared.
We got to feed them, two shrimp and one sardine.
Riley was ok feeding them the shrimp, but would NOT touch the sardine.
They got SOAKED!
What a great time we had!
